A French Art Deco baluster-form porcelain vase with a flared trumpet neck, retailed by J. Lusca of Dijon (28 Rue Bossuet) and produced by a Limoges porcelain house. The vase is hand-painted in the "Tango" decoration (referenced as pattern D.695 on the underside) with a stylized floral swag in deep burgundy, mustard yellow, lavender, and cobalt blue rosettes with trailing green leaves and pendant droplets, set against a cream ground. The neck is glazed in a bold chrome yellow, banded top and bottom in black with an undulating ribbon motif in ochre and burgundy — a classic Art Deco geometric border contrasting the naturalistic floral band below. The lower body is finished with a stylized reeded/flame motif in black outline above the footring.
Marked on the underside with the printed J. Lusca Dijon retailer's stamp, hand-inscribed "D.695" and "Tango," a decorator's cipher, and numbered "2."
