The circular bases rise to columnar stems built from alternating discs of figured walnut and dark, finely pebbled shagreen, creating a strong vertical rhythm and a subtle play of texture. Topped with lightly tinted parchment shades, the lamps have a soft, period‑correct profile that complements their compact, architectural silhouette.

The parchment shades diffuse the light with a warm, ambient glow, ideal for intimate bedroom or sitting‑room settings. Recently rewired for use in the United States, the pair is ready to install and works beautifully on nightstands, a low dresser, or on either side of a sculpture or painting, as in our installation view.
