Decoration Interieure Modernes (DIM)
The firm was etablished in 1919 by Rene Joubert who was trained as an architect before moving to the decorative art, he was employed at Maison Jansen where he was instruted funiture making. In 1924 he was joined by Philippe Petit a younger man who had worked at atelier Primavera. Joubert was the senior partner, designing most of the furnishing displays, Petit's role was to create interiors by introducing muted colors green and greys. The firm worked for an elite clientele, thye kept the editions small, by the 1930 the firm yielded to the metal furniture designs with equanimity.
